The Toy Museum was established in 1995 from the private collection of Henryk Tomaszewski - a famous mime and founder of the Wrocław Mime. Collecting was a complement to the artist's theatrical passion.
The famous Museum of Toys in Karpacz was established in 1995 from the private collection of Henryk Tomaszewski - the famous mime and founder of the Wrocław Pantomime. His theatrical passions were complemented by collecting.
The collection shows a cross-section of toy-making spanning some 200 years, from 18th-century nativity scene figurines, through 19th-century puppets, to toys typical of the 20th century. Here, you can see dolls from Japan, Mexico or Australia.
A visit to the Toy Museum will certainly make your children's stay in Karpacz more attractive and allow them to travel back in time.
